Brief
Create a simple web site for a Bed and Breakfast hotel in Poole, Dorset. The client's primary concern was a different visual presentation of their business.

Idea
Combine modern and vintage elements through an animated collage. The animation is rough in order to highlight the concept of a "rustic and cosy country side".

Role
Art Director, UI designer, Graphic designer, Illustrator.

Proximity
Set a geometric grid system (triangle) to create a dynamic composition and group it to convey a meaning of everything in one place.

Rhythm and movement
Although the intro was not recommended. This was designed to focus on the main menu and impart a sense of time and direction.

Colour contrast
Contrast helps to distinguish the navigational devices from the composition.

Break a rule for the greater good
Menus must be in the same place every time. However, the menu was moved to keep consistency in the internal pages.
